Poor Man's Dinner:
 Good Samartian holds a Poor Man's Dinner each year to raise money for a specific project that the store is in need of. Past year's funds have been used to pay off our donation truck, to purchase a new baler, and last year we raised money to add to our construction fund for the remodeling of Good Samaritan Ministries and Thrift Store. We partner with the Knights of Columbus and The Hibernians to make this event a huge success!

 The Cathedral of St. Helena and the Good Samaritan have teamed up for many
years to collect toys for our Christmas Community Sharing project to ensure that
no child goes without a gift at Christmas time. The families in need and the
way we service these people have evolved through the years. We now set up a
store in which the parents have the the dignity to come and "shop" for their
children.
We are asking individuals, businesses, organizations, and clubs to help
us collect toys. If you would be interested in helping please call Bob or Kathy

Each year Good Samaritan hosts a style show which raises funds for our assistance ministry. Our largest fund raiser of the year includes silent and live auctions. All clothing, tablescapes and auction items have been donated throughout the year and sold to raise money at this Fun Fashion Event!
